NST began working with the Cardionetics team in 2002, first with the C.Net2000 product and later with the C.Net5000. These devices are designed for use in general practice to automatically detect and classify arrhythmias. The company partnership began at the completion of a pilot study to evaluate the device in the primary care setting. Support delivered was in the form of editorial and medical writing services, including regulatory documents, scientific manuscripts and conference publications. This was followed by strategic input on regulatory and medical affairs for the planning of a larger follow-on study on the diagnosis and management of arrhythmias in primary care. As the study progressed, NST was engaged to create a training package for the diagnosis and management of arrhythmias in primary care followed by, the compilation of a formal product value assessment.
